Returns & Right of Withdrawal Policy

At True Timepieces, we want you to purchase your watch with confidence. As we primarily sell vintage and pre-owned watches, we provide clear information about your statutory right of withdrawal and our return procedure.

1. Statutory Right of Withdrawal – 14 Days

If you are a consumer purchasing from True Timepieces online, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days after receiving your order, without giving a reason.

The withdrawal period begins on the day after you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, receives the watch.

You can exercise your right of withdrawal through our online withdrawal function or by clearly informing us that you wish to withdraw from the purchase.

After notifying us of your withdrawal, you must return the watch within 14 days.

The statutory right of withdrawal applies regardless of whether the watch is new, vintage, pre-owned or discounted, unless a specific legal exception applies.

2. How to Request a Return

Please include your order number and clearly state that you wish to withdraw from your purchase.

You do not have to provide a reason for the return.

3. Return Shipping Costs

The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the watch when exercising the statutory right of withdrawal.

We do not provide a free return shipping label for standard returns.

We strongly recommend using a tracked and fully insured shipping service, particularly because our watches may have a significant value.

The customer is responsible for the package until it has been safely delivered to True Timepieces.

If the watch is defective, damaged upon delivery, or does not correspond with the product description, please contact us before returning it. In such cases, different arrangements regarding return shipping costs may apply.

4. Inspecting and Handling the Watch

During the 14-day withdrawal period, you may inspect and assess the watch to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functionality.

This means you may, for example inspect it and check its functions. Removing stickers, plastic or other new watch protection, reduces the value of the returning watch.

However, you are responsible for any reduction in value resulting from handling or use beyond what is necessary to inspect and assess the watch.

Examples may include:

• wearing the watch for an extended period;
• causing new scratches, dents or other damage;
• damaging the case, crystal, crown or bracelet/strap;
• exposing the watch to water when this is not necessary for inspection;
• removing or replacing original components;
• modifying the watch or its components;
• damaging or losing included accessories, documentation or packaging.

If such use results in a reduction in value, True Timepieces reserves the right to deduct the corresponding amount from the refund.

5. Condition, Accessories and Packaging

Please return the watch with all accessories, documentation and original packaging supplied with your order.

This may include, where applicable:

• original box;
• warranty papers or documentation;
• additional straps;
• tags;
• certificates;
• booklets;
• other accessories supplied with the watch.

The watch should be returned in the condition in which it was received, taking into account the consumer's right to inspect and assess the product.

Missing or damaged accessories or packaging may result in a reduction of the refund where this causes a demonstrable reduction in value.

6. Vintage and Pre-Owned Watches

True Timepieces specializes in vintage and pre-owned watches.

Due to their age and previous ownership, these watches may naturally have signs of wear, patina, discoloration or other characteristics associated with their age.

The condition of each watch is described as accurately as possible on the relevant product page, supported by photographs where possible.

Normal signs of age and wear that were clearly described or visible before purchase are considered part of the condition of the watch.

7. Refunds

Once you have validly exercised your right of withdrawal, we will refund the payments we received from you, including the cost of the cheapest standard delivery option offered by us.

If you selected a more expensive delivery method, the additional cost of that upgraded delivery option will not be refunded.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.

We may wait with the refund until we have received the returned watch or until you have provided evidence that you have sent the watch back, whichever occurs first.

Where applicable, any justified reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the watch may be deducted from the refund.

8. Damaged, Incorrect or Defective Watches

Please inspect your watch upon delivery.

If you receive:

• the wrong watch;
• a watch that was damaged during delivery;
• a watch with a defect that was not disclosed;
• or a watch that does not correspond with its product description,

please contact us as soon as possible.

In these situations, please contact us before returning the watch so that we can determine the appropriate solution.

Your statutory consumer rights regarding defective or non-conforming products are separate from your statutory right of withdrawal.

9. Return of the Watch

When returning a watch, please package it securely and appropriately to prevent damage during transportation.

Because vintage and pre-owned watches can have a significant value, we strongly recommend:

• using a tracked shipping service;
• using adequate protective packaging;
• insuring the shipment for the full value of the watch;
• keeping your proof of shipment until your return has been processed.

10. No Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.

If you wish to purchase another watch, you may return your original purchase in accordance with this policy and place a new order separately.

11. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply where a legal exception applies, including certain products that have been specifically made or clearly personalized according to the customer's specifications.

If an exception applies to a particular product, this will be clearly communicated before purchase.

12. Online Withdrawal Function

You can exercise your statutory right of withdrawal through our online withdrawal function.

The online withdrawal function is an additional method of exercising your right of withdrawal. You may also notify us by email or another legally permitted method.

When using the online withdrawal function, you will receive confirmation of your withdrawal.
